Alexandra Pressman is the founder of Belay Legal. Alexandra is a seasoned general counsel with particular expertise in the clean energy and climate space. She has a decade of legal experience at a major Silicon Valley law firm and as a general counsel. Alexandra has been the first legal hire at an early-stage startup and has taken a company public as GC, as well as all the steps in between. Earlier in her career she worked at the US Department of Energy and coordinated the development of federal greenhouse gas accounting and reporting standards at the White House Council on Environmental Quality (Obama Administration). She holds a B.A. (summa cum laude) from Connecticut College and a J.D. from Berkeley Law.
